Kajol's film 'Eela' gets a release date

 After the debacle of her 2015 Bollywood film Dilwale with Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Rohit Shetty and even a poor response for her 2017 Tamil comeback 'VIP 2' with Soundarya Rajinikanth and Dhanush, Kajol is all set to return to the big screen with Pradeep Sarkar film this year.

The film which is tentatively titled "Eela" gets a release date and will hit theatres on September 14th.

The film which also features this year's National Award for Best Actor winner Riddhi Sen, who will play Kajol's son and Neha Dhupia, who will essay the role of a drama instructor.

The movie is an adaptation of Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play, "Beta Kaagdo". Kajol plays a single parent in the film, which revolves around the relationship shared by a mother and son.

The film is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada (Pen India Limited).
